State approvals

Where we stand — honestly.

We'd rather be straight with you than overpromise. FacultyGenius is professional development. Every course carries a credit-hour value and a verifiable certificate — but how those hours count toward renewal or CEU requirements depends on your state and, very often, on your district.

Before you enroll, verify with your district

Districts have wide latitude to accept documented professional development. The single most reliable step is to confirm with your district's PD or HR office that FacultyGenius hours will be accepted for your specific requirement. We give you everything you need to make that easy: clear credit-hour values, course descriptions, and a verifiable certificate.

Priority states

We're actively pursuing formal approval in our four highest-volume states first.

All other states

Everywhere else, FacultyGenius is offered as documented professional development that districts routinely accept. Courses carry credit-hour values and verifiable certificates you can submit to your district for credit.

What every certificate includes

Each completion issues a certificate with the recipient's name, course title, completion date, and credit-hour value — plus a verification ID anyone can check at our public certificate verification page. That makes your hours easy for a district to confirm and accept.

This page reflects our current status and is updated as approvals progress. It isn't legal advice — your district or state board is the final authority on what counts toward your specific requirement.
